Göç edebilecek her bin kişi için net göç sayısını ifade eden net göç hızı İzmir’de 2020 yılında binde 3,37 iken 2021 yılında binde 4,97’ye çıktı.
Türkiye genelinde aldığı göç, verdiği göçten daha fazla olan il sayısı 45 oldu. Türkiye’nin, nüfusu en fazla olan ili İstanbul ise göç veren iller arasında yer aldı. 2021 yılında İstanbul’a 385 bin 328 kişi göç etti. 408 bin 165 kişi ise İstanbul’dan başka şehirlere göç etti.
TÜİK verilerine göre, Seferihisar binde 74,72 net göç hızı ile en çok göç alan ilçe olurken Seferihisar’ı sırasıyla Karaburun, Urla, Çeşme ve Menemen takip etti.
